The Twenty One Pilots Book Tag
Monday, August 08, 2016I was tagged by Julia Sappire on Youtube to do this tag on my Booktube channel and thought I'd share my answers on here too! Here is Julia's video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-ZmflT0TFo
There are two Twenty One Pilots Book Tag's on youtube and the one I am doing was created by Booksoverparties. Her video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NzLEJmKQ9M&feature=youtu.be
1) Stressed Out - Pick a book which you wish you could turn back time and read for the first time again.
Angel fall by Susan EE.
2) Ride - Pick a character who goes on a decline (gets worse mentally) throughout a book or series.
For this question I pick the character of Othello from Othello by William Shakespeare.
3) Fairly Local - Pick a book or series that takes place all over the country and/or world.
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. I won't say who travels all over the world as it will be a spoiler if you haven't gotten that far in The Mortal Instruments series.
4) Hometown - Pick a book that takes place in your hometown (or near it).
Monsters by Emerald Fennell. Although this doesn't take place in my hometown, it does take place in Cornwall which is only a few hours away from me and probably the closest a book has been set to my hometown.
5) Car Radio - Pick a character who is mostly silent but has a head full of thoughts.
Brother Zachariah from The Mortal Instruments / The Infernal Devices.
6) Tear In My Heart - Pick a couple in which one character was hard to get to know at first, but eventually opened up and warmed up to the other character.
Mr Darcy and Lizzie Bennett. If you've read Pride and Prejudice then you'll understand why I chose them!
7) House of Gold - Pick a character who has a strong relationship with their mother.
Bree from The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting. Although their relationship is strained at the beginning of the book, near the end they have a really strong and loving relationship.
8) The Run and Go - Pick a character who is on the run.
Jin and Amani from Rebel of the Sands. They both escape from the run down desert town that Amani is from and go on the run from the Sultan's army.
9) Holding Onto You - Pick a character who is questioning or is very uncertain of their beliefs (whether these beliefs are religious, moral, or otherwise).
I couldn't pick an answer for this so I skipped it!
10) Semi Automatic - Pick a character who is double-sided, or has an alter-ego.
Noah Czerny from The Raven Boys Quartet. I'm not entirely sure if this answer counts but if you've read the series then you'll know why I've picked Noah.
11) Trees - Pick a character who is searching for the truth...whatever that "truth" may be.
Hawthorn from The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett.
12) Not Today - Pick two characters who are so different that they often clash and don't understand each other.
Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter from the Harry Potter Series.
Monsters by Emerald Fennell. Although this doesn't take place in my hometown, it does take place in Cornwall which is only a few hours away from me and probably the closest a book has been set to my hometown.
